The process aims to reproduce a product in virtual form in order to develop a variant or replica of it.

Scanning and Modelling

As with 3D scanning, the Reverse Engineering process can also be applied through environmental scanning.

The aim of reverse engineering large and complex structures is to reproduce true-to-life 3D CAD models. Its application can range from large manufactured goods to industrial plant engineering.

Dimensional Inspection

Quality control using optical systems makes it possible to detect millions of points on the surface of any object, including soft or flexible ones, without the need for physical contact.

The resulting scan can be superimposed onto the native numerical models of the object to determine the calculated deviation values.

Environmental scanning

With the environmental scanner, it is possible to capture the surrounding environment quickly and in detail, and bring it into a virtual scene.

Perfect integration with topographical surveys carried out using GPS or total stations is also possible. Environmental scanning can also be used as a starting point for layout design or integrated with other technologies such as green screens.
