CASE STUDIES

VP SYSTEM
Ceramic District

The photovoltaic system consists of 16,242 Sunerg Solar 310 Wp monocrystalline photovoltaic modules and 53 Solar Edge 82.8 kWp inverters; the total nominal power is 5,035.02 kWp, with an estimated first-year production of 6,360,081.7 kWh.
The estimated production was calculated based on data extrapolated from UNI 10349 and in consideration of careful system maintenance.

Site Information and Management

  • One of the first large PV systems built in Italy and connected to the HV grid in compliance with the new 2018 regulations of the grid operator Terna
  • Dedicated switchboard design due to the large size of the system, to be installed within limited space inside the client’s electrical cabin, resulting in the selection of dedicated components and a refined cabin layout
  • Inverter distribution on the roof in compliance with VVF fire prevention regulations
  • Use of a helicopter for the installation of photovoltaic panels at height: 47,644 sqm of roofing with no access to the site by any other lifting equipment
  • Due to the impossibility of storing module pallets on the roof, special solutions were adopted to enable the pallets to be placed on the roof tiles without damaging the protective TPO sheathing

PV SYSTEM
MORDANO (BO)

Floating system

The system consists of five floating islands with a capacity of approximately 100 kWp each, for a total of 496.8 kWp over a total area of 5,550 square metres, and is connected to the secondary electrical cabin by a watertight cable running underwater in the basin where it is installed.
The panels are raised approximately 40 centimetres above the water and rest on galvanised steel frames fixed above the floats.
The average annual output is 605,000 kWh.

PV SYSTEM
Imola (BO)

Enzo and Dino Ferrari Racetrack

Completed in December 2012, the 297 kWp system was built on the new museum space constructed at the Enzo and Dino Ferrari racetrack in Imola. It occupies an area of approximately 2,500 sqm, blending perfectly with the structure’s innovative design.

PV SYSTEM
Castelguelfo Di Bologna (BO)

Outlet City Car Park

The system, with a rated electrical output of 1 MWp and a total area of 17,500 square metres, entered into operation on 18 April 2011.11.
The energy produced is sold entirely to the grid, allowing for an annual savings of 229 tonnes of oil equivalent (TOE).
The system is incentivised under the "Save Alcoa" scheme.
